Rumbux Protection Bars

Unsure if this is the right way to do this, so Mods feel free to change/move/or? I recently committed to purchase a brand new set of these for my Super Tenere, but while researching them I discovered that these require the stock Yamaha crash bars to attach to. Francois (seller) has these listed on ADVRider for $165, half price. I told him I'd still buy them I had committed, but he said no way, if they won't work for me. Seems like a good guy. I told him I'd post a notice up here and maybe one of you are interested. Not sure if it's OK to post a link to him here, so PM me for more info if you like. Thanks!

I have rumbux bars and I'm pretty sure I don't have any factory yamaha bars connecting to them.

These sound like the DS protection bars, as they bolt to the stock item. Need a photo of the item to give an accurate answer.

I have the Rumbux "Upper" Bars on mine, and Yes they need either the OEM Yamaha lower Bars or the Rumbux lower Bars to attach to.
I have the OEM Yamaha lowers.

Thanks for the info guys! Hopefully somebody can use these as they are being sold for a great price! I thought about still getting them and figuring out what was needed to get them on my bike, but yesterday I found full set of AltRider uppers, lowers and skid plate. So I went that route instead...

Just get the lower bars and skid plate too. The rumbux bars are awesome. I even have the rear bars. I love rumbux
