Having now had chance to have a good look at my new bike (2017) I notice that there are loads of well nuts used for fixing the screen, winglets and side cowels. Most of them have started to break up for some reason and I will need to replace about 10 of them soon.

Anyone else had this problem?

No Problem like that ever on either of my Tenere’s, maybe it has something to do with the climate where you live ?

I think it might be more a case of the previous owner over tightening them.

Get a torque screwdriver. One of my favorite recent tool purchases. 4.4 inch/pound on the windscreen. Prevents fricking up the well nuts from guessing at how tight to go.
