When I inquired with Rox about a month ago, they told me the only risers that fit the '14-15 is the 1R-P2PPS10A (or 1R-P2PPS10K in black). Also, based on what I've read from others, you do not need cable extenders but almost everyone recommended installing them because of the stress it puts on the OEM cables. Lastly, with the extenders, it says you do not need to bleed the brakes but you do - a gravity bleed at a minimum. More than you were wanting to know but since I have been looking at it, I thought I would share my findings.

There is another option which comes out a little cheaper. Maxey's Yamaha here in OKC is selling the ones made for the 14/15 Super Ten. They come from Germany.

nice...price?
I'd be totally interested as I think 2" is too much for me...30mm (~1") would be perfect.

I've been running the Rox offset 1" up and back for 6k miles on my '14 with no issues. You do have to "twist" the original risers to install these though so the bolt pattern lines up. Otherwise its working great and I love the riding position. The cables are snug but they aren't pulling. You need to remove the inserts on the ROX as well.

Has anyone ordered the Off-The-Road risers from Germany (http://www.off-the-road.de/en/XT-1200Z/Handlebar-risers-30mm-XT-1200Z-ZE-2014.html) or is there a place to order them from stateside?

Robocop, do you have them on your bike?
I have them on mine, did have to get the new longer clutch and brake lines offered by one of the members here. Like them better then the ROX Risers. Also using the ProTaper Raptor bars, perfect for correcting wrist angle and both sitting and standing up for dirt !!

So you did have to get the longer brake and clutch lines even with the 1" risers????? I've read so many articles on these things now and it seems like some folks say you need them with 2" risers and some say you don't but I thought with the 1" you did not have to get the longer cables???? I was going to get the 2" but didn't want to have to add the lines due to having to bleed the brakes.

I emailed Maxey that Roboco posted about asking about the price and if they have them in stock. I haven't heard back from them yet but they're probably closed on Monday.

And on a side note I was sitting here watching the game and googled "adding cables to Tenere" and this thread popped up. I didn't add the little face but I did put a couple question marks at the end of the sentence so I gues if you do that it automatically adds the little face?

That surprises me. There are some that add the Rox 2" risers and didn't feel the need to add the extra length and these are just barely over an inch so you'd think they would be ok. Are the Raptor bars narrower than the stock S10 bars? I really like the FJ-09 bars and may do a swap out this winter.

Side note answer: if you put 3x question marks in a row, it populates the post with that emoji.

I do and really like them. Much better than the Rox that I had on my 2012.
Thanks - Did you see a need for extending the cables? I may couple this with the FJ-09 handlebars which I believe are a little narrower which should actually help with cable reach.

No, I have plenty of play in the lines after installation and didn't think I needed to extend the lines. (405) 946-0550 is the parts counter. Good people there. Ask for Mark or Tweak (Yes, that is the same Tweak that is now on the forum). He is the parts manager for Maxey's Yamaha.

Did you ever hear back from Maxey's on the risers?
