update on the rotopax.
After a few rides, the only thing that contacts the rotopax is the end bolt (for the brake line).
I'm moving my givi rack over 1/8 of an inch (the exhaust side will move to the right (looking at theback of the bike), and I'll shim out the non exhaust side by an 1/8th, and that should do the trick

Can you confirm what size RotoPax that is? Looks AWESOME.

I can't possibly believe that is the 1.75 model. Could you really confirm?

I made a cardboard mock-up of the 1 gallon version using the dimensions on Rotopax site, and that BARELY looks like it would fit.

SHEIZER! sorry my bad! its the one galon, don't ask me where I got the 1.75 from.

so more or less 3.5 liters....enough to get you about 50-60 km in a pinch.
i'll follow up once the racks are moved over

Any chance you could snap some pics of relocating the brake line and which "end bolt" becomes the issue?

no problem, i'll take a few tomorrow, as i'm wiring up for the CO mod.
the end bolt is simply the end of the brake line (banjo fitting?) I had to cut out a small amount of the aluminum inboard of the caliper to push the banjo bolt in. Also outboard of the banjo bolt, yamaha installed a holding piece (again part of the caliper) that I hacked off.

I will space the racks, do the CO mod, take lots of pictures, not have a clue how to upload them, and simply have CAmshaft upload the pics for me.

I believe the technical term that Greg uses for the part he cut off of the brake caliper is called [at least by him]...ready...a.....a......"nubbin". The nubbin is located in close proximity to the banjo fitting....

So, effectively he went from sumthin'.....to...."nubbin".

ok, here's some pics of the clearance being checked.
I'm waiting on some parts from Cam to come back from my free machinist ;D
I will be moving the entire givi rack over about 1/8 of an inch to the right of the bike (looking at the back of it)
that should give me the required clearance

Looks awesome!

Any chance you could snap a pic detailing the mods you made to the rear brake parts?
