the article is written in Spanish but I encourage you to translate it into English.
In brief, new Rieju 500 cc 48 CV with two gas deposits, a normal one and another one under the seat, with a full capacity of 39 liters, what gives an autonomy around 1000 km, to be launched in 2023.
Yes! This is what I want. Power is enough as I do not want to go into races and the law limits the speed anyway. This motorcycle gives you an autonomy enough to cross the Sahara dessert and get to Senegal from Spain, or cross Siberia to reach Vladivostok in the Pacific, or cross the Lut dessert in Iran if motorcycles are allowed to enter again. This is adventure as I imagine it and not going from Spain to Denmark or from Texas to Montana. I am looking forward to know more details about this motorcycle and the final launching date.

I like the dual fuel tanks. Not that I would need them, but I like the idea of two from the factory.

pretty bike , what a honda 500 should look like ... and being a 500 it should do well in the MPG area .... big range is great but your butt is going to want to stop well before you need gas.
Quique, espero que puedas comprar uno . entonces danos un informe de transporte . que tengas un gran día .

Range and tank. Got it.
I'll stop if I need to rest. I usually stop every 200 km. You can find petrol stations everywhere, but sometimes you don't. For example, going to Senegal, there is a stage of 400 km without stations. This is at the limit of what a ST can do. As this station is the only one in many km, you are forced to stop there and the ISIS guys know it. There have been kidnappings of westerners at this station. The road is safe, the army controls it, but I am not sure of those corrupt good for nothing police officers and soldiers. They are capable to call the ISIS and tell them, hey there's a silly Spaniard going down the road. If my range is bigger then I have more options.
In many countries in Africa there are difficulties to find petrol and you must go to the black market if available.
In Siberia, they are building more and more stations, but still there are huge distances there. In Lut, the distance is 300 something to the next station. An ST can do it, but any mistake or miscalculation will leave you stopped in the toughest dessert of the planet. I've been told that in between Argentina, Chile and Bolivia happens the same.
I think that having a big range is an advantage. Unnecessary in Europe, but this is my dream, going out there.
Gracias madhatter I will.

I’ll be curious on the weight will be. Out in the desert SW of the US, there have been times that the 4.7 gallon tank on my KTM 640 was almost not enough.
Been thinking as I get older I would like to have something lighter than my Tenere for serious off-roading and just keep it for my highway/ dirt road adventure bike. The KTM is ok on the highway but it sure isn’t my first pick.

Bike looks somewhat like a lot of Adventure bike offerings and, like others, I like the two tanks. Would be somewhat concerned with parts and perhaps service on this bike in the US but if they sell through an existing dealer network then maybe. Not seeing any specifications and the weight would be interesting to know. 10 gallons of fuel is about 80 lbs so that is a bit of weight.
