Riding and Relaxing on the Bighorn Mountain's in Wyoming

Howdy Guys ,
My company is gone and my Wife Jo-Ann and I got a chance to do some riding on the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming this weekend ( 7-27-2013 ) . Here are some of the pictures we took.

We always pack our pillows and hammocks along with a book so we can pull over and relax ( yeah right , I fell asleep in no time LOL ) . It was nice to relax in the cool mountain air yesterday.





Stopped to look down the mountain. Altitude 9815 feet above sea level.

This picture of my wife Jo-Ann and I was taken by our company last week. We were guiding them through Crazy Woman Canyon on the Bighorn Mountain.

Thanks for the pictures. I always make the Bighorns one of my destinations when I ride out west. I spent a week in Buffalo last year, and I crossed the Bighorns this year on my way to Idaho. Like I said, a beautiful ride. keep the pictures coming. It makes me homesick for that area.

If anyone is wondering about the hammocks , They are made by Grand Trunk . They are Single wide ( they also make a double wide ) Parachute Nylon Hammocks. They support up to 400 pounds each. They have a small side pocket , you roll each end of the hammock up and stuff it into that side pocket , put the hanging ropes in the pocket and then use the draw string to close it . When stored away it's about the size of a Nerf football. ( not the full size football , more like a medium size ). They're very light and don't take up much room. The pillows are WalMart Camping Pillows found in the camping section. It's really a nice way to relax after riding , and that cool mountain air feels great.
