Cool! About Jim's: I reckon we all have our favorite places to eat, etc. Jim's place is the last locally, family owned restaurant. Foreign or out of town restaurant chains have take over and are everywhere. Jim's was started by Capt Jim Pierce who came home from WWII, went to college, and in the 1950s started Jim's Restaurant. I used to there with my grandparents and mama as a kid in the 1950s. I and his daughter became life long friends in 1962 when we were in the 2nd grade. Since then, with time, Mr. and Mrs. Pierce have died, two siblings died of cancer. Now my friend Phyllis Pierce is running it. So not only is the food is great, but I like to give them my business when I can for the stated reasons. Their luncheon menu is like a meat and three veggies, etc. Great food.

Going on a 3 day adventure 5-7 April. Expecting to do around 1000 km. The theme of the trip is beer, food and wine :)
