Okay, here's a ridiculous idea: What model/actress/singer would you like Yamaha to put straddling a Tenere at a show to sell more?
(so I am not sexist, any female (or other) Tenere riders out there can volunteer someone from that other sex).

Regarding the celebrity endorsement...

I can't see a bikini model type working for a Tenere. No one is going to believe the idea of the Tenere attracting that type. Sure I'd like to see the ads, but not going to sell any more bikes.

I could see one of the attractive female country music stars being a positive for sales. Can't name any one specific. Don't know that world, but I've seen there are some good candidates out there.

To be even handed, Bruce Willis out on the trails could boost the image of the Tenere. I don't think we have many image buyers on the Tenere yet. He could be useful in getting that type of buyer.

Wife got me a crossbow for Christmas. After using it to slice of part of my finger earlier this year, I did manage to put it to good use two weeks ago and got my first deer ever. Long time coming. I hunted with no luck back in the 80s. It was a great experience to serve up some steaks harvested from the back yard. My daughter really got a charge out of thinking of the source of her steak. It was a good moment.
