Ride to Eat with the FJRs again on Nov 4 in Bedford PA

The last one worked so well that Kitty put out the invite for another! Unfortunately I will probably be helping my daughter move, but this should be a great group in a great area for riding! So if you can make it, this would be a chance to get the Teneres and FJRs together again. Here is what Kitty posted over on the FJRForum:.

.Okay kids, the first RTE went pretty well and since we had a guy come down from State College, I thought maybe we'd move a little north for him. I picked Bedford PA for some selfish reasons, but I can do that So, let's say sit down at 9AM, meet outside to kick tires etc 30-60 minutes prior?

I got pinged by one of the instigators on this RTE and she wanted me to pass on here that:

"we're still on for this Sunday. Still Denny's in Bedford, PA on Business US220.

Sit down at 9AM, meet in the parking lot 30-60 minutes prior for tire kicking, etc."

That's Sunday November 4th, so don't forget to set your clocks back an hour Sat night, Daylight Savings time ends at 0200 on Sun morning.

I'm still gonna try for this, but it means an 0600 departure and a 31 degree start. Since I'm new, and poor I am not truly properly geared up for a chilly run so I'll see if I can round up some socks tomorrow. O I hope to be there for some hot coffee and great conversation, but I reserve the right to sissy out upon losing feeling in any extremity. ::025::

Been there, done that.... I'm now friends with Mr. Gerbing, I don't know why we weren't partners many, many years ago. He keeps me nice and warm. But it did take a small outlay of funds. Probably one of the best investments I've ever made for motorcycling gear!

BTW, we just need to ensure the coffee is super hot so that it warms you up!

If you do decide to head out tomorrow morning, PM me. We could do a freeze dried run up in a mini S10 gaggle.

OK, took a small ride today, had to decide on whether I would invest in heated gear for tomorrow or go without food, satellite and some other creature comforts. Gonna be a Raman Christmas as I popped for a liner and hybrid gloves from a guy named Gerbin. Installation is a snap and the controller seems pretty smart. The dealer comp'd the little carrying case and I tried it all out for a few minutes just after dark. Well .. here's hopin' I won't even know it's cold Planning on a fair amont of hot coffee no matter what! See you there. ::012::

Had a great time meeting up with Siseneg, mcbrien (that was you, wasn't it?), and a bunch of FJR riders. It as great fun as we learned about the "PB" and other assorted rally stories.

I look forward to attending the next one.

There were three of us S10 riders there, 2 BMW, and I believe 5 or 6 FJR's.
