Rear suspension maximum travel

Can anyone tell me what the maximum travel is in the rear suspension on a 2014 non ES with a standard OEM shock? I was going to mount an air compressor under my tool tube, but before I start fabricating a rack, I want to make sure that the swingarm and/or rear caliper won't smack into it when the suspension is compressed.

Per Yamaha's website the specification is 7.5". Front and rear for the Gen 2 non-ES.

All part of the regular service! Actually 7.5" is true across the board for the ES too.
