Rear Axle Grease

I have guard dog moly for my splines, however, are you guys using any grease on the axle shaft when reinstalling after taking the back tire off?

If so, what are you using?

I've always used anti-seize.

Yes, I grease the shaft. It makes assembling and future disassembling much easier.

I’ve used anti-seize and waterproof grease over the years…..whichever one I grab first.

light coat of lithium grease to prevent corrosion on the axle and suspension pivots for me. yes i used to be a bicycle mechanic
