Seems finding paint colour mix codes for motorcycles is difficult from my experience. I think your 12s colour is called impact blue. When I purchased my new to me grey 13 in late 17 I painted it as close a mix as I could find to the Yamaha racing blue found on the 14 model. I did get paint mixed to that colour and it came out very close. And as it was a complete repaint the very slight difference was not an issue. I have a mix code for that colour but it isn’t the impact blue of your bike.
Taking a painted panel from your bike to your local paint shop and having them take a “ shot” of it and mixing to suite will probably be your quickest way to get the correct mix formula. My shop mixed me a small amount first and I sprayed out a test panel first to make sure I was happy with it before going ahead with the repaint.

If you have a iPhone 8 or newer just download a paint matching app. Follow the instructions carefully. It works really good. We used it to match paint in the house and it was a perfect match.

The paint was supplied to Yamaha by Nippon Paint. I do not have the color code. The PPG or Sherwin Williams refinishing stores may have a cross reference by year/model/description. Even it they do, it may not match. Your best bet is to take a painted part into one of the refinishing stores and have them color match. BWC is dead on about working with test panels before you begin painting

If you have not worked with base/color/clear systems yourself it may be worth the money to just turn the job over to a body ship.

Drop a line and let us know how it goes
