I was a little concerned about the real world performance of the ST until I read the Jimmy Lewis review. Yamaha is asking a lot from the 1st time buyers since none of us are going to get a chance to ride one of the things until delivery but I guess if it gets Jimmy's stamp of approval than it's worth the risk.
Holy crap 130mph on the pavement and wheelspin at 116 mph on the dirt? Yeah Baby!

They want to get a long term test bike and put some more aggressive off-road tires on it. That should be an interesting read.
