Question on Givi PL2119 racks...

Working on the left side of my 2014 ST putting on the Givi PL2114 rack. I got the top bolts installed with the hand rail but on the bottom near the passenger foot peg, I am wondering if I am supposed to remove the OEM bolt there behind passenger peg and use the new bolt instead? I can't see any other way I can get a bolt in there. Givi's instructions SUCK as usual.

Yes remove the bolt and use the new supplied bolt.

Yup and on mine, that bolt was too short. I had to bough one.

Thanks Guys. You would think how expensive this stuff is they would give you clear instructions and everything you need to get it done, but that is asking too much I guess.

GIVI makes nice stuff but I think they pride themselves in writing vague instructions

The Touratech one's are no better, a couple of diagrams but far too vague
