Has anyone installed the new Pyramid Rear Hugger fender yet? It would be nice to know what people think of it and the protection it offers.

Not the Pyramid but I have the HLD made out of Greece and it works very well. A bit of a pain to install and pricey but because of a history of events they gave it to me for free. It is ABS plastic and has been installed for over a year now. It sits close to the tire so if you do any off roading it may not be a good idea. Not sure how close the Pyramid sits but something to consider. Another thought is if you ever choose to run different tires a rear fender may hit higher profile types.
I have the Pyramid on mine and it does a good job for the road. When I rode in a storm for most of the day, the bike was still dirty and the inside of the cases was filthy also, but it did keep road crap off of my tail bag..
I had to re work mine where the right side bolt broke the fiberglass. It is not the strongest and will require work if you get an iffy one.
