PureOne oil filter

Anyone hear or notice a mounting change on the PL14612 filter?
My last one bottomed out on the inner thread before fully sealed properly.
Didn't start leaking until it had nearly 2K miles on it. Now it drips oil just sitting still! ::010::

This was addressed awhile back. Do a search and you'll find it. However, purolator and others have changed the design of this filter. They now have a convex shape where the threads are and bottom out before the gasket seats. I found some Mobil 1 and Bosch filters that are not this new design and bought them for future oil changes. Not as cheap as those Purolator's but, nice filters that will work.
