Anybody got some photos / info on wiring a 2012 model for a 4 wire trailer?

Greatly appreciated.

My connections are beneath the rear seat and the flat connector is on the inside of the rear fender, forward of the license plate. The hitch should be as close to axle height as possible, I needed to remove the center stand for left turns, and you definitely want a swivel for the hitch.

A test light is your friend. Checks, did you use a light converter? Most trailers come with combined fixtures, both brake and turn use the same bulb. I used one on both of my pullers. I like the powered converters.

No, but it did take a lot of trial and error with alligator clip jumper wires before figuring out which combination of wires worked.

The way I began was to simply use a set of jumper wires directly off the battery to the trailer to illuminate each light or set of lights. Once I had the trailer's connector figured out, sorting out wires under the rear seat for the bike connector was a lot easier.
