Hi guys
I m trying to cut the motorcycle cost , so i decided to change oil.
I got synthetic 15/50 , new K&N oil filter and PSR Magnetic Oil Drain Bolt.
This bolt has a metal wire and a clip . Is this necessary ? and why the original does not have it ?
Thanks

That is a safety wire to ensure the bolt does not loosen enough to spill oil. IIRC, it's not required to be used unless you are on a track I believe. I'm pretty sure most if not all tracks require this because it can be a hazard to other riders. I would certainly use it for the extra peace of mind. Where did you get it and what part #?

Sure that is correct? Not doubting you but Revzilla says it doesn't match the Tenere.

OK thanks. I forgot many places still don't show whether it works on a 2014 or 2015. It doesn't come up if you start with 2014.

I had to use the original ones .
What part of 'don't fit' is it?

- Diameter
- Threads
- Length
