I call this one Scalpel because I trimmed a couple of different "Fat" maps to get a map that has great bottom end and gets over 40 mpg.

SetUp >

Clutch switch mod 100% of the time
PCV > Autotune
BMC Air Filter
Arrow header and Aluminium Can

My CO Settings are +5 for both.
TBS done at 600 mile service interval.

I'm at 1298 ft elevation.

91 Octane with 10% Ethanol most of the time. It's hard to find non-Ethanol fuel. Ethanol requires a slightly lower AFR to burn optimally in comparison to fuel without 10% ethanol, but this map should work fine with non-ethanol fuel as it is slightly leaner than the fattest of maps.
Also I recommend trimming relatively often at first. I used a 10 mile loop that varies from stop and go traffic to 70 mph limited access 4 lane highway. You need to run the bike fully through the RPM range. I ran this loop 4 times over three days and trimmed the map each time. This map is a baseline untrimmed map. My opinion is that each bike is subtly different and your trims could be different than mine.
If you compare the AFR's to other maps, this map may be "thinner" (numerically higher ratio) on the bottom. That's probably worked out better on my bike because of the changes from the clutch switch mod. The original map was a little too fat ( numerically lower AFR) on the bottom which caused extensive popping on deceleration. This map has very little of that.

i can speak for the bottom end of this map - i'm running his afr's down low in the rpm range and it rocks. i can run my leo without a db killer at all and don't get the annoying pop on decel that sounds like it's coughing. before that i thought everyone was crazy that the the leo wasn't much louder than stock w/o the db killer - now i can say they're right.

fun working with you on this map man - good work!

I'm glad that the bottom end worked out for you. This was like the fourth map I tinkered around with. I think the first one I sent you was extremely lean. I think I got like 47 mpg with that one! Glad you got a map that works out for you. ::012::
