I'm with Mr. Bertrand. I've always though that we're all here because we like the same bike, and like to talk about that bike. It's also likely to be a generational thing. My kids immediately go to Youtube. They'll call me sometimes to diagnose an issue, but they go right back to Youtube for the fix. I am used to asking a friend that I think might have the knowledge I need for whatever I'm working on at the time. And, to be honest, our "search" box rarely works for me. I either get "too many words", or "not enough words". And, when I do get a result, it's not the one I'm looking for.
There's a member that's been messaging me for advise about his bike. It never crossed my to just tell him to use "search". Since I am definitely not very Tenere savvy, and after much conversation, we decided that he needed to contact one of our resident experts.
Maybe after 10 years on the Forum, a person gets jaded. It's still fun to me. And, there's nowhere else, for me, that I get to converse with people on the other side of the planet. So, ask away. . . . if I can answer a question, I will.
