I had this problem recently I tend to flush my clutch every 3rd oil change and never had a problem until three days ago when I flushed my system.
I found that I had to set my clutch lever all the way when I would have it two to three clicks loose (Chinese Pazzo knock offs).
I felt the clutch disengaged to abruptly launching he bike and some feel of slipping I did remove all air in the lines as I always have and tightened the bleeder valve as I always have, it felt spongy.
I talked to my mechanic and he told me clamp down on the lever hold it and loosen the banjo bolt attached to the reservoir and bleed it at that location that air gets trapped in that location after time.
Then tighten it back up release the lever then top it off, he was correct it solved the problem.

I hate that, I had a KTM front brake that you had to bleed by installing the pistons (caliper pistons) in order to push fluid up into a secret air pocket in the brakes. Good times...
