I described what I did to my stock seat in the intro and I'll repeat it here. I just returned from a 1 hr each way sojourn and have no complaints with this setup. My ass is 185# and 6'1" so of course your experience may be different. Coming from the bicycle world, they use a seat with the middle cut out to relieve pressure on the perineum so your ass, legs, and junk don't go numb from lack of circulation. I removed the seat, removed the cover, and cut a V notch length wise down the middle of the seat, this allows for sitting anywhere front to back. I also rounded the corners where the legs go down at a stop. The V notch also allows the foam to move around a bit and helps to soften it up. Using a long sharp cutting tool you want to be smooth if you do the edges, the cover material is thin and will show your talents. After done restaple the cover, this takes a really good power stapler, like a Makita is what I use. Elsewhere it is described how to adjust the seat so the front is higher and lower the rear and makes it more level so you don't slide forward. After all this I really see no need to change seats.
