I know that this is for discussing the bike, but as my wife and I are retired police officers, I need to ask for your prayers for the fallen Dallas officers. I know that some of you are law enforcement or retired law enforcement, so I think that you feel our loss and frustration about these types of incidents. We survived our years of service, but those officers did not. So again, please pray for their familes, protect and support our brothers and sisters on that thin blue line.

Being from Dallas / Fort Worth, it was really crazy last night. I have friends that live down town that could look out there window to see all that was going on... Completely un called for and a sad situation..

Retired officer here, too...my thoughts are with the Dallas area police officers and in the wake of this tragic event, I'm disgusted that our politicians appear to be running to their podiums to promote their individual agendas.

Terrible stuff. Right now we need to be trying to unite as a nation. Stop being so damn polarized on everything. It is a shame the politicians seem to use the great divide to farm votes. We need a leader who will try and tell everyone, it is ok to get along instead of spewing all this bipartisan nonsense.

At a time of mourning for the fallen officers of POTUS is yukking it up at a NATO meeting. He will arrive in time for more chest beating about the guns, police action and that we should hug the law breakers.

My prayers are with the ones left behind.

ALL LIVES MATTERS.

I will return you know to the regular program schedule.

Retired LEO here. I mourn the loss of the officers, and the devastation their families are going through.

I wish I could say this is surprising, but it is not. The magnitude of this incident is though. I wish the politicians would call out the good, along with the bad, no matter what race/gender. Promote calmness and talk. Wait for the facts, instead of using an incident to promote their own agenda.

I retired from the Dallas PD three years ago and I'm just sick with grief and mad as hell. I personally knew two of the officers, Loren Ahrens and Mike Smith, having worked with them on various assignments over the years. They were great guys, as were the other officers shot down that day.

I have been trying to decide what to say about the shooting without going off on a rant about politicians and the media but I can't so I won't.

Your prayers are appreciated.

Those officers will never be forgotten.

Horrible for sure, here in Denver there is a 135hr vigil for all the black criminal lives lost due to police. Police bombed the black killer of these officers so now 136hrs..

I agree, and yet we see an example of that right here in this thread.

My heart goes out to the families of all men and women who's lives have recently been taken regardless of if they wore a badge or not. May they find peace.

But i have to admit that i do find it troubling that for the first time ever a US citizen was killed by a drone on American soil.
