PM function not working?

I have been attempting to reach the ECU flash guy for a while with no luck. I have sent numerous PM's and my sent box shows only one sent. Not sure what I am doing wrong. has anyone else attempted to use the PM function lately and had trouble?>

I think PM's are working just fine. You have to click the checkbox below the message editor to have messages saved to your outbox. If not checked, the message will send, but there will be no record of it in your outbox.

I haven't heard from AVC on here in months. Perhaps he's no longer active here? I have heard of many others unable to reach him as well.

Me too. I've been doing alot of research on the subject. avc8130 seems like a guy that is well respected by the community and knows what he's doing. Time to explore other avenues I guess.

I have not gotten a notification that I had a PM in ages. I have to manually check to see if any are waiting for me.

I think I have my account set so it sends me an email when I get a PM. Without that I'd never know I had one. Pretty rare for the little message pending to show up or stay on for any amount of time.

At the upper left, go to Profile.
Click on Modify Profile
Then click on Notifications. Here you can turn on the notifications if you want them. A lot of people do not.

Personal Messages. Here you can do the same for the pm's.

Just had my flash done by AVC about a month ago. I ended up contacting him on adv forum. Very happy with the the results.

He just replied to his A more affordable flash option post today.
So he is around.

Part of the issue is that anyone using Gmail has had their notifications from the board shunted to the Spam/Junk folder. Tony is one of those (he posted about it in his flash thread). You can whitelist yamahasupertenere.com on the Gmail web page to allow those messages to come through. If you need help doing so, feel free to let me know.
