Pitted forks

Anyone noticed that their forks have pitted around the area at the bottom by the front brake rotors?

I had my mudguard off yesterday and noticed mine are pitted there also, my bike is just in warranty or just run out so will have to check. Was not impressed, not sure what i can do about it.

Checked mine, none, but A) I think it's too new, and B) I think this is another example of the UK corrosion curse. You poor guys seem to have more problems with corrosion than anywhere else. I hate the heat here, but I hate rust even more....
