...yeah, I searched here, but didn't find any. Jesse only shows other views on their website. I would like to see how close the bags sit. I would also appreciate any actual final installed width measurements, with and without the hand grips. Yeah, I know I've seen that discussed, but it's hard to search through and find those tidbits. Any discussion of pros and cons of Odyssey II vs. Safari? Safari 11.5 final installed width measurements?

They are my measurements.

IMHO I can't see much reason to go for the Safaris unless you really need the extra volume, and/or prefer the more rounded looks (and don't mind paying more for those things).

My wife has the Safari 9's on her F650. They are sure sweet. But to me they are too narrow and deep. They are fine for her with her smaller hands, but I feel cramped in there. The 11's would likely resolve that, being wider. I like the lines of them, and the finish. But I don't think the extra little bit of room and curves justify the extra mounted width and cost to me. I think the Odyssey II's will give me the room I need. I have the Yamaha OEM cases (I'll be putting them up for sale) and will be going from 64 to 105 quoted liters. Essentially it's like getting a third case.

Another big difference will be in the top case as well, if I do that too. 13 to 45 L, or like more than 3 top cases for 1.
