Here she is.. about a 70 mile ride home from the dealership.. then I had to find some mud. Really surprised at how well this bike does in the corners. She's biggg.. feels bigger than my FJR height wise.. little higher leg throw than I'm used to and I'm 6'2". Felt like the seat wants to dump me in to the tank a little bit.. seemed to encourage "equipment" fatigue. I may have to check out the touring windshield too.. mine is at the highest setting and it still seems kinda small. I really enjoy the display.. maybe if all OEM's would do their turn signals that way there would be a lot less of them "stuck" as people ride straight for miles..
And for you color folks out there... definitely glad I got the black. I was blue blue blue all the way... I think in large part because that's really the first color that came out which is the color that's in most of the video reviews, OEM lifestyle pictures, etc. People tend to naturally buy what they see... but A) I was going to have wait several more weeks for a blue one... and B) Everything on wheels looks better in black. The pictures of the black don't do it justice.. plus all my gear is black with the exception of a silver KLIM F4 helmet I may wear sometime that will match my bags... now if I could've had the Australian blue bike with the extra silver in the fairing area, then yes.. the blue is a great looking bike. But when you put the Australian blue beside the USA blue without the silver on the fairings... I just can't get attached to it. Maybe if I had never seen the Aussie version I'd think differently... but I'm very pleased with the color choice.
Sorry about the pictures being upside down... they're oriented correctly when I look at them on my computer.
