As the title says i am picking up my new to me 2012 White/red fully loaded Worldcrosser with only 4k on the clock this afternoon, going to do the lightweight option and collect it in the van as it's nearly a 4 hour journey and i'd like to get to know it on my local roads at home first. ::015::

Aaahh, taking the soft option ::025::. My first ride on my last three bikes were 1100km, fly into the UK, ride out the next morning. But congrats on the new bike ::008::, and make sure you don't get hit by lightening, seems there's a lot of it about.

I've been toying with the TT headlight guard, I was going to buy a cheap Chinese one but they aren't quick release and having seen the bugs on my bike today I think quick release might be useful!

It's got to be quick release for me,i had a fixed mesh one on my Africa Twin and it was a real pain to get between it and the headlamp to clean the glass, took it off and left it off in the end.
