Hello all, been lurking for a couple weeks. Finally pulled the trigger. Pick up my White S10 Saturday, very excited. I've not had a bike like this - closest thing was my 1982 XT 125 or 1993 XR650L. Had a couple cruisers including an HD, but i'm a dirt guy at heart. Ride a WR450 now but wanted a bike to take some long road trips on. The Super T seems like the perfect fit.

Picking it up with OEM side cases, top case, tall windshield w/ deflectors.

looking at AltRider crash bars and skid plate but still checking options.

Welcome to the Club! You should find the Tenere to be a versatile bike suitable for most any need. Enjoy the new bike and the forum.

Good choice with the white! Enjoy the ride. Put knobs on it and hit the Little Sahara after a good soaking.

Congrats on your new White S10. Nice choice of colour too :) that would definitely be my choice.
I'm riding a KLR 650 now and am working on a deal 2012 Blue S10 with side cases and only 5000km's. Hope they except my offer :)
Cross your fingers for me Tenere forum.

Awesome bike and very envious of all of you.

Well, OK, OK. You're in a good spot for a long riding season. My new gray one is waiting on me about 5 miles from here. Snowing this morning. I don't want to talk about it. Congrats on the new bike, and ::004:: to the Forum. R. ::022::

Let me know if there are any Tenere friendly trails up there. I know there are proper dirt bike trails up there but running this big thing on real single track is a LOT of work for me. I'm sure you'll enjoy the bike and you'll get all the info you could ask for here. I have a good FJR riding buddy up in Stiillwater.

Welcome! we have quite a few S10 riders down in the OKC area so let's get together and ride or if nothing more than meet for lunch somewhere between. It's just a short ride either way.

Agree, I have a WR for the single track. Just getting to know the Super T. I love that I can take any road that looks interesting and no worries if it's paved or dirt or mud, it eats it all up.

Sounds good. Let me know if you guys have any plans. I'm usually out the door solo with little planning otherwise.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! Greetings from the D.C. area. Hope you get a lot of opportunity to ride it. After nearly 5 months I finally managed to get out and do some quality dirt/gravel/mud time. I can say with authority that you're gonna like this bike :)
