These have been my go-to solution when I want more light. Never an issue and they work fine. Put them on the S10 the day after I picked it up. I keep a set of spares cause I never know when something new will roll into my garage. ::025::

Let us know how they work out for you.

Regards, Paul

You might want to check the rated hour life expectancy for the "extreme" and "plus" type bulbs, normally they are greatly reduced compared to a standard halogen bulb. Sometimes this info is on the back of the package.

I have been using these for 6-7 months and like them very much. The reason for selecting this bulb is they are offered and approved by Yamaha. I did not want to have problems with the headlight wiring harness and have Yamaha say the bulb caused the problem. Now the wiring harness has been recalled and we can experiment with other bulbs with confidence.

Yea, once I get that nice heavier gauge harness, I'm willing to fork out for the brightest H7 you guys recommend. I'll keep an extra onboard if they have suspect lifespan.

The suspect lifespan worries me. They cost a fortune at Amazon.
