I have a question regarding the PDP plan. We all worked out our individual deals with our dealers and they gave us a dollar amount out the door. What happens to the $500.00 deposit? Is that subtracted from the negotiated price, or do dealers count that is money in the bank? I've never done one of these before, and I know some of you FJR owners have? I'm just trying to set my own expectations for the deposit.

It would be deducted from the total price. For example, my original paperwork had the sales prices, taxes, etc... Minus my deposit. Yours should show the same but apparently some dealers took the desposit but didn't provide sales paperwork?

Yeah they didn't provide a sales sheet. I basically have a piece of paper with my order number on it and the out the door price we agreed upon. It also shows that I made a 500.00 deposit. When I discussed price with him, he told me what he'd take for the bike plus tt&l, but he was never clear with me if that included my deposit or not. I assume my deposit will be subtracted from our final out the door price, but I hate surprises. Did any of you other guys order from Jason @ Stadium? Did you get a full sales sheet?

yes.........what is PDP?

that is what I asked our regional and the folks at Laguna

apparently it is being re-evaluated. I personally would like some differentiation from John-Q-Public

so far I have a $250 Yama-dollars certificate

I don't want to be wet blanket, but look what the Euros got - fully outfitted bikes!

(please don't mention the Euro/Dollar difference.....I can buy any euro vehicle here cheaper than in Europe)
