Has anyone found a good location for a PC-8 fuse block on a 2014/2015 ES?

As of now I am planning to install it under the right side cowling in the space normally utilized for OEM toolkit storage. Plan B is to mount it up higher where the fuses/relays are, which will require relocating at least one fuse/relay.

That thread is referring to a standard 2014 model, not an ES. The ES has an additional computer under the seat which prevents installation of a PC-8.

So the question remains......has anyone mounted a PC-8 on a 2014/2015 ***ES*** model?

I would love to know myself, but I suspect I will be buying and figure out myself.

How about that little pocket where the tool kit is normally kept? I keep my tool kit in my tail pack and that frees up that area.

Tool kit space with heavy duty hook and loop is where I was going to go, but still preferring an easier access point. Is there anything wrong with moving the fuse on the far right side to the left with a zip tie?

In was thinking about doing the same thing. I don't really see a problem with moving the fuse and securing it with a zip tie as pictured. Of course you will then need to remove the plastic fuse holder tab, so there is no turning back once you go this route..........

Looks like that would work, but you mention easier access point. Seems easier getting to the tool compartment than pulling that upper panel to get to it.

If it is installed in the tool compartment, the PC-8 will have to be removed every time you need add wires or change a fuse. Not really a problem, but it would be nice to have full access without pulling the PC-8 out of position. I think that either location would work fine.....not sure which I will choose.

I have a 2015 ES and I'm installing an FZ-1 Fuzeblock. Dimensions: L 3.25" x W 2.5" x H 1.25". Here's the spot I found that should work.

Right beside the battery there's a little protrusion. It isn't used for mounting and nothing attaches behind it. Maybe it's just from the moulding process, I don't know. But I cut the little bugger off and my FZ-1 fits perfectly in there and is accessible under the first cover. I'm trying to find the clips needed to use the heated grips plug in to power it. If not I'll just run leads to the battery. I'm going to mount it with heavy duty velcro instead of trying to screw it down. That way I can leave some extra wire and lift it off if I need to. I was going to do it all yesterday, but I always glue the velcro down and wanted to give it a day to set. I'll post the finished pictures later.

I think that location may also work for the PC-8 if the plastic protrusion was removed.

I Mounted the PC8 in the under the top side panel next to the relays.

I relocated the cruise fuse down and to the left a little, and cut off its mounting tab

I cut out the vertical rib and part of the horizontal rib.

I then mounted the board with velcro which is very sturdy and allows for removing it easily if needed.

The Relay for the PC8 was mounted on the tab next to the battery pictured above using a washer and bolt

I took a page from iClint's playbook. Here's my solution:

Here's the original pocket where the cruise and stop light fuses are located:

Remove the fuse and dremel away the vertical and lower horizontal ridges:

Add my custom 3D printed bracket - contact me for the .stl file or if you'd like one printed. $15 would probably cover it (email to merf689@gmail.com would be best):

Attach the PC8 and slide the fused on the the new fuse holder tab:

Replace cover, done:

Wow you didn't have to butcher it I just used knife to cut through the top and bottom then ran it down the side and after folding it back and forth it pops off nice and clean
