Is everyone experiencing the same thing I am ? I'm ordering all types of parts for the Tenere for customers and they seem to all be on back order or several 'Japan' only part... I'm getting back order time-frames from 2-5 weeks for most of my Super Tenere parts ?

You guys ? Hard to get guys back on the road with this log jam... ::010:: ::007::

I've only ever ordered bolts and washers but they always come in within a week or 2. I got all my stuff from Riva Motorsports (local to Miami). Is this just an issue with major parts?

I ordered the clutch hub, fibers and nut/gasket along with the camchain tensioner, bolts and gasket last Monday. Stadium Yamaha is saying delivery 7/7-7/10. Looking forward to a smoother ride and peace of mind on cold startups.

Has not been my experience. I started ordering parts for my new bike less than 1 week ago. Credit card is in full meltdown, hard to see through all the smoke. So far the only thing that has been on back order was the Rox bar risers. Mailman and UPS guy are in Christmas mode around here. Altrider bars on Monday, ACD plate today, never know what's showing up next.

Want me to do your ordering, Jaxon? I seem to have good luck right now?

Rec'd my Rox risers today. Free shipping due to the back order.

After I was alerted to the back order I cancelled the order. I ordered them after my first ride (last Friday) which gave me some carpel tunnel type issues. I had little hope I could get enough movement out of the bars by just rotating them in the stock clamp. Later I made whatever adjustment I could get out of stock. Next ride was longer and better. I want to be positive I need them before spending the cash. May still happen, just want to make sure.

Same here on proving I needed the risers. The pain at the base of my neck where it meets the back proved I needed the rider. Took more than 2,200 miles.

I'm probably too impatient to wait that long. Going to do an overnight with DM this weekend. I expect to know by the end of the weekend if I need them or not. Will be interested to hear how your install goes. I've read cables and hoses are long enough, I've read they are too tight. Not sure what to think.

Hey DD... just put on the Rox 2" risers - only took me 12000 miles to take the leap. They made a HUGE difference. I am such a stubborn ass!!!

I was able to do the install without any issues form the cables and wiring being too short. I did loosen them up as per the AltRider install video. I can go stop to stop now with no issues.

I had (have) the shorter Rox riser on both the '12s. I'm hoping the '15 will be the same easy install.

DD I installed the Rox risers on my 2014 with no issues at all. Had them on there at Romney event. They are the pivoting 2 inch risers. Great for standing while riding. Very easy install.

Glad the farkling of the new steed is coming along for you.

Thanks, Steve. I give bar risers a 60/40 shot that they will be back on my purchase list.

Did you buy the Altrider Install Kit or... did you make your own or... did you not use anything?

Was going to install the Rox risers this morning but installed the Altrider Body Guards instead.

Hey Baldknob, did you get the parts you ordered? and did they send you an email saying they were shipped?
I ordered mine a day before you did, and sent an email last week asking if parts were on back order, they failed to even respond, luckily I paid on PP so when I try again this week and do not get answer then off to Paypal I go with a refund demand.

FYI

I installed the 2" rox risers with the Altrider kit on my 2014 ES.

It was okay but decided to install 2" longer clutch and front brake lines as there was significant pull when full lock turning. (To be safe)

It seems like a lot of owners are putting in new clutches... no parts, no email, no idea at Stadium when (waiting on a train) they are getting in. I was told they're waiting on the fiber plates but it could be BS. The guy on the phone didn't sound too convincing about availability.

Yamaha has three centers for parts distribution, in California, Georgia, and Wisconsin. I had a Yam person check last week and his 'puter showed that GA & WI have zero and CA had a few remaining. In discussion, he said there were so few they may just be there physically but already have money on them.

Ok, update, I spoke to Austin at Stadium Yamaha and he said parts were shipped out last week, I told him that I never received a shipping email and he said that they are having problems with that, so I'm hoping all the parts were delivered (to Illinois), and won't know if it's a complete shipment or not.
But credit due to Austin, he said he had just picked up my phone message and did not receive an email from me last week.
So I'm stoked.
