Took a short ride in the mild Florida temperatures today to test out my new Parabellum windshield. At 6 ft with a 32 inch stretch I found the 24 inch windshield much more effective than the OEM. The risers' up & back by 1 & a quarter inches precluded any contact with the windshield and handlebar components. I was happy with the very casual ride in T-Mode that netted me an average 51MPG according to the display. I need to make a more accurate check with fuel & mileage data, but if the Yami engineers did a good job, it should be close. I watched it increase as I rode from about 45 upward. I purposely rode very conservatively and never exceeded 60mph. That's not the way I usually ride and I will have to conduct further evaluation but I am hopeful that I will still see a fuel savings.
