On the ride home from the dealership last weekend with my new 2015 S10 non-ES, the stock (short) windshield about vibrated the glasses off my head with the buffeting and about deafened me (ears ringing) even with a top end full face helmet. I read about every thread on this board about windshields and as a result, gave Parabellum a call. I am 5' 10" and 32 inseam. Brenda at Parabellum suggested the tall (24") and I said sure, lets go with that. It arrived yesterday and I installed it in the dark by headlamp after work. Took maybe 10 minutes and that included carefully reading the instructions. Unscrew 4 screws, remove old windshield, install new windshield, screw in the 4 supplied screws/washers, pop the black caps on top of the screws to make 'em look good and done. Cannot get any easier than that. The windshield fits perfectly, no clearance issues and the holes matched up perfectly with the OEM mount.

Just took if for a test ride this am to try out one notch down from full high and then full high. Both worked great and the buffeting is 98% gone!! Settled on the high setting and the top of the windshield is just below my vision. Perfect. It sends the air over the top of my helmet by an inch or two. One notch down from high did great also with the air right at the top of the helmet. (you can put your hand up and feel where the wind starts to hit as you ride).

I am sold! Great product, great customer service, and fast shipping. Anyone need an OEM short screen? It is free to the first person to claim it and send me a self addressed postage paid mailing box for it. Only has a couple hundred miles on it. Like new.

Anyway, here are some photos of the Parabellum 24" mounted (in highest position) as well as a size comparison with the OEM short screen. Think I will get me some of those side deflector thingies now. Thanks very much to the good folks on this board who pointed me in a good direction, this thread is intended to keep that informative tradition going.

Glad to hear everything works well for you. I just installed a Parabellum 24" also, but did have an issue with the stock hand guards coming into contact with the sides of the windshield. Talked to Brenda also, and we decided on trimming the edges to get the clearance needed. It seems that my handlebars turned on the high side of spec, which necessitated about 7/8" trim on each side. I've been running mine on the low setting. For reference, I'm 5'10" with 32 inch inseam as well. Happy camper now, +1 to Parabellum. Sweet red color on your bike, Magdump!

I picked up the New taller OEM windshield. Man what a difference. That 5 inches made a world of difference even on the lower settings.

There is a "new" taller windshield? Is it 5" taller compared the OEM touring windshield that is 2" taller? Part#????

I just installed a 27" from Parabellum and can't wait to test it. At 6'5" and 36" inseam I hope this does the trick. It's huge and fit perfectly without conflict with the controls.
