I was wondering if any one else has had the lock from their OEM panniers fall out. I just came home from a ride and went to unlock my pannier and found that the lock has fallen out. Does any one have any advise on haw to avoid this in the future or should I include tightning this in my maintenance schedule?

There are two threads on this problem going at the same time, here is what I posted on the other.
Yep they are not the best. I used a tamper proof Torx bit to tighten them down hard this seems to have worked. My eyes are bad and I did not notice that they are tamper proof Torx so I was using a normal Torx bit and not getting them tight enough.
