Howdy boys and gals. I've decided to terminate my tenure as a moderator here on the Forum. Couple of reasons …. one is that it costs a lot of money for me to use the Internet. Seriously. Sometimes my monthly bill is 200 bucks, and I'm a very conservative user. Another reason is that I just don't have the time to go through each and every thread and post to make sure everyone is playing nice. I have been accused a couple of times of being unfair and subjective in some of my decisions. Unfair, perhaps. Subjective, absolutely. There are no rules for this. You hope that grown ups will play nice and control themselves …. alas, that's not always the way it works out. Some things I simply miss, some things I hope will work themselves out.


Please keep in mind that we moderators have another life. It takes a lot of time to read every single post from every single thread. And then you try to make a thoughtful determination. Some members think we're a police state, others think we aren't strict enough. Can't win. Anyway, I'm tired of doing the referee thing, and particularly when I'm chided for doing something others don't agree with. I can only do what I think is best. A guy does what he can. I still plan to remain a member of this Forum and throw in my $0.02. Probably cost me 10 bucks just to write this stupid post. Anyway, please be kind to each other. Read your post before you post it, and maybe ask yourself if it could have been written a little better, a little more softly, a little kinder ………… anyone can be an asshole …… but you can say the same exact thing without offending anyone. Let's be careful out there. I advised Veture tonight, so those of you who want the fame and the money, he'll probably be looking for someone soon. Hope to meet each and every one of you at some point. Probably not. I'm old. You guys look after each other. You are a brotherhood. A siblinghood ???? Damn political correctness. Everyone of you whom I've met, I liked very much. You're a pretty good bunch. That should be a source of pride. R

Rem thanks for doing your best! I thought you always were great fair and honest and tried not to police to much. Unforturnatly men will be boys. Your the nicest guy I've never met. Always have heard praise from anyone who has met you. I hope I can meet you some day. Thanks again! Mark

I understand as a ADMIN of another site, sometimes it sucks. All I can say is you cant please them all. Let the whiners and haters show their asses and rest will stay and add the good things that makes a site thrive.
