Too bad someone isn't caging it over to Cle Elum. I own a brewery and would be happy to provide a barrel of our finest brew for the thirsty campers. See you there. Cheers, Barry
Drop Anchor Brewery in beautiful Cathlamet, Washington. Open since March of this year. It's right on the marina and the Columbia river. We're on facebook and dropanchorbrewery.com Good brews and riding in these parts for sure. Kind of a ways to be hucking a sloshing barrel of beer on an S10. It would be so worth it though.I had a guy return an empty on a Gold Wing yesterday. Cheers, Barry
Distibution is only in Southern Washington for now. Demand has out stripped the supply between the taproom and our distributor. Two more fermentors arrived last week, so production will be doubled soon. We'll be in Seattle and Portland probably by next summer. Cathlamet is a great destination with plenty of lodging and camping available and incredible riding.
Cathlamet is a great place, good camping at the marina, a couple of places to eat and you can get there from Oregon via the Westport ferry. I usually sail in but would look forward to a weekend of camping and riding in the area.
The marina has a great campground, showers and BBQ pits with a covered area. Glen, if you're looking for a destination for some rides this fall, this would sure get my vote.
NEWBIES, NEW OWNERS, EX BEEMER RT RIDERS, saddle up and head on out to Cle Elum for this ride event we have going on! We have prizes, dinner, friends, great roads....oooohhhh and Free Stuff for attendees.
We are working on compiling the pictures from the weekend( if you haven't yet, send them to me glencomeaux@me.com) and we will get them posted on the website. It will then be sent to Corporate Yamaha! ::014::
If you can't get into Cathlamet, the Vista Park campground in Skamokawa is just down beautiful hwy 4 about 8 miles. They have Yurts, lots of open space and places for tents and RVs. Pretty reasonable rates as well. Tons of twisty pavement in that area. I love going there. Gets a bit windy in the afternoons, but for whatever reason I just love it there.
We compiled 200+ pics from a few of our riders over the weekends ride in Cle Elum. THANK YOU AGAIN for everyone that made it out. Our sponsors Altrider, Konflict suspension, Cyclops lights, Heidenau tires and most importantly Jeff Anderson at Sportland Yamaha in Cle Elum. It wouldn't have happened w/o him and his wife pitching in their time and food!
