PA: RevZilla & Tony Luke's 10/01

I will be heading down to Philly with a buddy to do some shopping at RevZilla then to Tony Luke's for some Philly cheesesteak goodness tomorrow late-morning/early-afternoon. May stop by and crash a tail gate for the Phillies/Eagles games as well while down that way ::015::

Ugh, just checked weather Reason I need to go down is to buy rain gear so I can't (don't want to) ride down in the rain.

OK, so I did decide to just go down this afternoon. The weather was great, the drivers I had to navigate thru Philly not so much!

Got down to their store front around 2:30 . . .



Not really all that impressive from the outside but all kinds of good stuff on the inside. The 2 people working the retail store now are Bobby (who use to work at the shop I bought the Tenere from) and Kat who helped me with some helmet fitting.

I would up buying a shiny new Arai helmet in Diamond Black - matches the Raven ST perfectly! Thanks to RevZilla for their great staff and products, got a great heltmet, for a great price. They cover the sales tax when you buy in the store and they shipped it to me for free (didn't have anything with me to carry it home with me).

I never realized there was a store for them in Philly. Next major gear purchase I may have to go down there. Most of the dealer inventories are pretty weak these days.

Not this trip, went by but the lines were too long and I didn't feel like waiting. May go back down tomorrow to see the Phillies with their first playoff game against the Cards though.

They have all their internet stock there and a lot of that they have samples of in the showroom. Mostly all wearable sruff though, not to much hardparts yet in the store .

Let me know when you go, it is always a good trip and evenif I don't plan on buying anything I wind up with something anyway.

Shame, I just ordered a few MX specific items online. If the boots that are now in transit don't work for me I'll head down to Revzilla and try on/buy there. If that happens I'll give you a shout.
