Pick up my 2024 Super Ten on Friday.
Did you get the Yamaha hard bags with your bike? Perhaps they are not included in the USA? I ask because my 2024 has arrived at the dealership however my hard bags have not. I don't know if they've been delayed, lost or are on back order.

Thanks for the post!! Mine is actually an ES - I don't think they come stock in the US. If you can get them, grab 'em!

You're going to love this bike! I'm still under 500 miles, but hey. Smile everytime I twist that rooster neck!

Thanks for the quick response. As far as I know, Yamaha only offers an ES model.

I just checked the Yamaha USA website and it appears that the bags are not included on the USA bikes, but they are available as an almost $1,300 option! I also learned that the bike retails for $16,300USD versus $19,400CAD. To compare "apples to apples", if you add the bags to the USA bike it's $17,600USD, or about $24,200CAD. I think we in the North are getting a deal!

This will be my second Super Tenere. Previously I owned a 2013 model on which I put 197,500 kilometres (122,721 miles), and I agree: I will love this bike!!

Anyone else not a huge fan of the cables floating over the ignition? Suggestions for tidying that up?

You can loosely zip tie them down lower. Make sure there is enough space in the looped zip tie for them to move around. I did this on my '12 back in '11. No issues in 100k miles.
You can see the extra zip tie to the bars here.

Note that the three luggage locks, (panniers and top box), all come with the bikes, usually under the seat. The bags come boxed all together on pallets, so it's not uncommon for the bike to arrive and the boxes are delayed, just make sure you got all three locks with your bike. If they are missing, go back to the dealer and make them find them. Otherwise if you go with Yamaha boxes, you'll end up needing to order locks and have them re-keyed to match your seat/ignition key, (or have a different key for your luggage).
