Oil Filter question

Getting ready to do an oil change on Blu. Local dealer gave me filter number 5GH-13440-50. The one on the bike ends in 20. Can I use the one they sold me and what is different between the two? Thank everybody.

Yes it will work. It'a a new number and I think it's a longer filter.

The Mobil M1-108 is the shorter version of the filter listed above by LincolnRider - it works with most all skid plates and can be bought at many local auto parts stores.

Lots of filters listed here - http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=1326.0 - with measurements of some so you know if they fit with skid plates, etc.

That's my go-to filter as it works well with the OEM skid plate that others were slightly too long for.
