Ohlins, Tractive or Touratech Ace ? Convert XTZE to manual suspensions ?

Hello,

I would like to buy a Super Tenere very soon and after a lot of research I know in advance that I will be fitting aftermarket front/rear suspensions.
According to all the reviews I've read, they're much better than the original suspensions, including the ZE's electronic suspensions.
So I have two questions.

The first: is it possible to fit aftermarket suspensions to a ZE without problems with the dashboard electronics? This may seem a silly question, but I see a lot of used ZEs that are no more expensive than the "normal" versions, and sometimes even cheaper in my research area (France).

Second question: I'm hesitating between Tractive, Ohlins and Tourach Ace, which are very expensive (2000€) but offer first-rate electronic suspension. I think Touratech is made by Tractive.
Knowing that Tractive and Ohlins are the same price.
I'd like to know the performance level of each one, the Touratech Ace seems really too expensive but I'm mainly hesitating between Tractive and Ohlins.

Thanks for your feedback!

with the ohlins, you,ll have to work out what spring you need ie your weight passenger weight luggauge etc, as it comes standard with a 130 spring whitch is no good to most,
i ended up having to get a 170 spring

If I'm not wrong when you order your ohlins suspensions, you can choose a custom spring adapted to your weight.

No, but I've collected a lot of opinions from people who have tried or owned both.
Unfortunately this bike is no longer in production, so I can't try it out.
If you have an opinion I'd love to read it.

I put a Nitron in mine with very good results. When you buy Nitron they build them to your spec/ weight / preferences etc. cheaper too

Well I’m happy with my 2018 ES I believe it rides better than my 2013 non ES. ES suspension seems a little easier to adjust
than standard suspension, ES adjusts both front and rear at the same time. In my case ES was only $500 extra and heated grips were standard equipment where with non ES i would have had to pay an extra $500 to get the Yamaha heated grips. If the ES ever goes bad it might cost a fortune to fix it but that hasn’t happened to me yet.

I replaced the OE suspension on my GS before I bought my S10 with Ohlins, front and rear and it was the best upgrade I have ever done to a motorcycle. It completely transformed the ride and it is still today the best ride I ever had, better then my current S10 with ES hands down.
Expensive but would do it again.
