So.... one of the screws that hold the OEM locket in the OEM Panniers fell out. I figured I'd have until Monday to get some replacement screws. Well, I figured wrong; the other one quickly joined it. (lonely?)

The back fell out and now I can't open the d*** thing to fix it.

Any wisdom or knowledge you can lay on me?

Do you have a diagram of the luggage locking mechanism? This would make it easier to understand.

Look at the third lock to see how it connects to the latch (hook).

The plastic latch opens to the right. Make sure you are pressing down on the lid. Try picking the latch.

Just remember, those screws are tamper proof torx and not phillips like most people think. I put a tiny little drop of blue lock tight on them let it dry then screwed them in. Haven't had an issue since. Something you might think about when reinstalling.

Yeah, an S10 mechanic local to me recommended the same thing! I will get on it this week, sometime....
Just remembered I have a broken box in my garage. I will try and pick the latch (hook) and let you know.

I had the same problem on a trip to Scotland with 2112 in sept if you put your finger in the hole you can rotate the inner ring of the lock and unlock the pannier I found this out the hard way with all my gear stuck inside it or alternatively you can take your other lock to bits and you will see what I mean
