The Yamaha website lists two different aux lights, the standard bulb type and the newer LED type. For the Gen 1 bikes only the standard bulb type is listed under accessories, whereas for the Gen 2 bikes both standard and LED types are listed under accessories. I'm interested in fitting the aux lights under the headlights. So the LED type do not fit the Gen 1 bikes? Or is this an oversight of Yamaha to update their website?

Either should fit with no problem. It may be that when you try to order the older one you'll get a message that the other supersedes it.
