Rode with an HD Friend of mine, belt broke. We towed his bike to a friends garage and ripped into it replacing it. It's alot of work to replace those belts.
remove primary drive cover and fluid, clutch, main drive chain, swingarm. I think the belt alone was 200.00. If the dealer would have replaced it, I believe it's a 700.00 job.
Inspecting the belt, we could see the dimple of a large stone that started the belt to it's demise.
Keep the belt drive bikes on the road, not the dirt. Chains and Shafts are the way to go. Preferrably shaft.
