Hi all, my name's Wyatt, and I just but a 2015 Super Tenere to replace a 2007 RS Venture I'm selling. I've only taken it out for one real ride since I got it the other day but I'm loving it so far. I commute, tour, etc. on my bike and really think the S10 is going to suit me well as my primary vehicle for the next few years as I go back to school and do more exploring in my free time. I have an old truck but avoid driving as much as possible (I'd much rather be on two wheels on almost any day, fairly extreme weather being the only exception), so the versatility and reliability of this bike are both really exciting. I love my venture too but it simply can't do as much, does a lot of things worse, and the few things it does better are by a pretty narrow margin. Plus there's some advantages in safety and features that matter more when you ride daily.

Anyway I'm in DFW and will be moving to College Station in January, so if anybody in the area or around Texas wants to chat or meet up for a ride or show me some cool adventure routes, feel free to hit me up. I'm tentatively planning a trip to Big Bend at some point this winter, and likely will make a trip or two to Colorado and up into the Apps for skiing this season

Welcome, from Joshua. There's a bunch of DFW members, but I never see them in the wild.

Welcome from idaho, enjoy your bike and the warm weather.
Well the 40 degrees riding home this evening wasn't quite warm (we even got down to 32 the other day...I remember a few years ago sweating at work while it hit 90 degrees a week into November) but I'll admit it's better than...25 in Boise right now? Heated grips and those hand covers with clip on deflectors and the tall version OEM windshield all work pretty well for me though. A pair of what seems to be gen 1 wind deflectors also came with it so I'll have to find a way to make those fit too.
