Hey all,

Another cool bike, another forum. Been on 2 wheels for 40 plus years. Street going on 6, started on a DRZ-400s, then to a 92 NH with 12K in mint condition. Loved that bike, but the need for more was there. 3 years ago sold it for a 09 New Old Stock FZ1. Made a 10 hr drive for her, Did a few up grades but the back was not happy for long haul rides.

Some guys at work found the 2013 Super Ten for 10K and picked a few up. Once I sat on one it was over, my looking for ? for 2 solid years was found. A short look on C/L and I found a 14. Called on trade off and in 3 days it was in my stable.

My Fz1

I've added ALT side protection, Yami Skid plate, hard bags and a Yoshi slip on. I think that's all I need, she's a street machine for me.

Thanks all, Got drenched coming to work today :mad: She was waxed up so nice. Will roll 600 mark today so Oil's to be changed. I see some folks have had issues reading the oil leval in the glass ? When I got it, it was over the top so I drained some. Went back and forth with it. So is it safe to say you just add 3.6 qrts with a filter ?

::004:: neighbor!

I just did my first service recently too. I tried for the documented 3.59 quarts of oil with a filter change. She burped out a small amount oil after the commute the next morning. Not a drop since - commuting every day this week - 250+ miles. So it seems that she has found her own level. I'm used to this from my Moto Guzzis so I figure I'm okay. Sitting on the centerstand in the garage right now the sight glass is completely full.

Oil is at the top mark. Today was the final of break in miles and RPM's. Headed up to Mt. Baker, great ride, lots of sweeps, fallowed a Ninja to 92 mph after 1000K miles. I swear it got faster after that point. On the way home I got speeding Ticket on Injin land. But, they gave me a break to keep of record. These bike fly, LG.

Looking at my ticket it WILL be going on record :mad: My bad, She sings with that Yoshi. Poor Nighthawk won't get much ride time this year.

I will be rolling 2K and will be doing another oil change, and the rear end. This should get me through the season. This engine is opening up nicely ::013::
