More interesting is that the 2010 BMW 1200GS only outnumbers it about 5:1, although I think the GSA is a separate model so maybe nearer 8 or 9:1 overall - still the BMW owners would have you believe there are a thousand GS sold for each Yamaha.
The latest GS is not shown, but assuming similar sales ratio's maybe @500 sold this year, and more problems from 500 bikes under a year old than the 500 Yamaha's which are up to 3 years old, makes me very happy to know how rare my bike is, and how reliable it is compared to the best selling "unstoppable" bike out there
