Glad to be aboard! I await my new Tenere come next May/June. I'll be hanging around to pick your brain and be properly prepped for the new bike until then. Thanks in advance!

Glad to have you! It's going to be a long wait it seems... But, on the bright side, that's plenty of time for our overseas brethren to test out the aftermarket for us, right?
Thanks! Not sure I'll have a lot to contribute until later, but I'll be around and pipe in when it's irresistable. As you mentioned, this will give the aftermarket time to develop products for the bike.
what kind of pricing are you finding in USA, i called local dealer and was told $12,499 plus all fees, is there alot of negotiating when you put deposit down?

Make sure you understand clearly what "fees" are not in the $12,499. I'm not sure how Yamaha works it, but I know all the Triumph dealers like to tack on an additional $500 or so in prep and setup. Almost nobody quotes these fees in their price, they always appear close to signing with excuses like, "Triumph makes us charge that!", etc.
