Great event. Good to catch up with everyone again, or for the first time. Always appreciate meeting my fellow owners.

thfraser - Thanks for putting it together today. I thought it was great.

cb0802 - Here's the link to the May event. Hope you and Chad can make it. Actually I hope everyone from today can make it. http://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=6193.0

Here are the photos I have from today.

Like they said, it was fun even if we got there late and had to leave early.
Looking forward to Romney!

Thanks for coming out everyone! I'm ecstatic that everyone had fun. I actually believe everyone that said they were in, made it, plus a few other folks!

It was my first time meeting many of you, so it was great to put names with faces!

I took some pictures but have to upload them. When I do, I'll get them up there.

And a big thanks to Dirt_dad for leading the motley crew around on a few roads.

Well have to plan another one soon. Anyone up for sometime in mid to late March? If so, I'll scope out a place to eat and we can start organizing another RTE.

As long as the schedule permits I'd be up for something at the end of March.

I'm wondering if Boosthund and cb0802 made it out to the dirt road they were heading for when they left. How did it go guys?

Great time and thanks. We hit several trails to include ?Weather Mnt? Not sure of the road name but it ended by a weather station. For the most part we stuck to your route. Personally it was a great learning experience and confidence booster. I enjoyed the trails and appreciate all the advice before riding them. I have a few pictures to upload tomorrow. One includes the "dual sport" night hawk.
Thanks again and enjoyed meeting everyone.

Sounds like there is sufficient interest. I'll coordinate another RTE for March 23rd. I'll start another post on a new RTE shortly!

However - if anyone has an idea of where they would like to eat, let me know. If not, I'll just figure something out!

Thanks for putting this together Tom! And thanks Dirt Dad for the fun route before we headed home! First time two up off pavement, and it was awesome! I wish we had a shot of the "puddle crossing" :D Looking forward to the next RTE!

I'm defineitely bolting on the GoPro next time :) missed some good video ops this trip. Yes, my view of the puddle crossing was exquisite. Nicely done indeed!

Awesome, glad you enjoyed the learning experience. That Mt Weather road has a few steep spots. A challenging road for your first off pavement experience. Glad it went well. Hope you'll be joining us in Romney.

After watching that puddle crossing in my mirror I'm surprised to hear it was your first 2-up off pavement experience. I had my helmet camera with me, but forgot to pull it out. I'll try to do better next time.

Also enjoyed Sunday's ride. Anytime out on 2 wheels on a nice sunny day is always a treat.
Enjoyed meeting you all and hope to join in future rides.
Best,
Paul V.
